December... a nostalgic month comes to take stock of what we have experienced this year. December comes to project us everything we could not do better such as that opportunity which we missed, that person we missed. We are not aware of how fast time goes, thinking we will have time for everything, or even thinking we are eternal but.. December comes to make us remember that time flies and we have to use it as much as we can.
Another year has almost finished. Why does time go so fast?? It seems yesterday when I was so nervous for passing my exams of bachelor and now I'm in the university about to do the first tests.
This year, I know it has not been the best year of my life, I had to study hard to be able to entry to the university, and there has been many disasters in the world but.. In spite of these facts, I have always been sorrounded by amazing people who have made my life easier and that has made my year was special! Definitely, the best of this year has been summer, I think I could say that this summer has been the best so far. Most of the summer I was travelling with Ana, my partner in crime in all my adventures. We were in London as I said, and we also went to Low Festival, in Benidorm. This summer was amazing but I did not mind it to end, because it was going to start a new stage in my life, which has been one of the best things I could have done. I have met a lot people in Murcia, and I am doing what I love so.. I cannot ask for anything better right now.
This year finishes, but another one starts and that means a lot of new opportunities, new projects... and I cannot wait! BYE 2015,WELCOME 2016!!

Describe a person- My soul sister.
Ana is one of the most important people in my life. I met her four years ago, it is true that we are not friends since we were young, but it has not been necessary because since the beginning we had a great relationship and it is getting stronger. With her, I can talk about anything, she is always there to help me with everything. She is such a happy person, she is always smiling and that makes me feel happy too.
Sometimes people think we spend too much time together, since she is always in my house. We couls say we are like sister, and I am so lucky to have a soul sister in my life!!
Smartphones- A great invention?
Smart phones appeared not so long in our society and they have become in something essential for us. They have a lot of advantages in our life, but they also can be detrimental to our health or even our mind.
On the one hand, Smart phones make our lives easier giving to us the chance to be able to communicate with people from anywhere. Moreover, with smartphones you can not only call, but it also you can take photos, or even organize your schedule therefore it is beneficial to society.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks which are important to think. In spite of all the advantages they have, smartphones are strongly influencing, specially youth. Most of people are losing their privacity because they share everything they do, and it can be dangerous. In addition, we lose almost all the time pending whether we have new notifications, or new posts to review.
So I think smart phones provide us ease in our daily lives but we only have to know how to use them.

Best holiday ever!
One
of the best places I’ve ever seen is Greece. I saw Greece in a
cruise holiday. Id loved this holiday because I not only was in
Greece but also in Italy and Dubrovnik. I enjoyed such a beatiful scenary.
If
I had to choose a favorite place of Greece I’d say Athens, because
When I went, I was studying the Greece history and I learnt a lot of
about its monuments and it was a luck to be able to see all I had
studied.
Firstly,Athens
offers us many atracttions full of history and mythology. There
we can find The Parthenon which is one of the most important
monuments of Greek civilization.
Furthermore, it is dedicated to the
Greek goddess Athena, whom the Athenians considered their
protector. It’s really difficult even for most imaginative minds
imagine how the temple wasdecorated
with ornaments and colors, and now is
presented with marble strucure.
We can also find the
Erechtheion which is a Greek temple built on the north side of the
Acropolis of Athens in honor of the gods Athena and Poseidon Polias
and Erechtheus.The
Erechtheion kept some of the oldest and most sacred relics of the
Athenians.
It
was a tiring journey because we didn’t stop visiting places and
historical monuments but it was worth it. I only can say it was a
hair-raising experience and I am looking forward to come back! I
encourage everyone to go cruising and enjoy the experience.

Would you like to live abroad at some stage in your life?
Would you live in another country? Many people travel abroad to impore their English or to explore themselves. In fact, when you go abroad, for example, in England, you can see a lot of people from different countries.
On one hand, there are too many positive things about living in another country at some stage in our life. You could meet people from different countries and learn their costums. It is so exciting to meet people who have different languages,culture... And one the best things of going abroad is improving your English, is the best way to learn.
On the other hand, there are negative things as well, such as leaving your family, I think it is the worst thing. At firts it would be difficult, you would feel alone and you would miss your family so much but it will be worth.
To conclude, I would like to say that it would be the best experience of our lives, and everyone should live in another country at some stage of your lives to knew new cultures and explore the world.

ESSAY: The importance of technology in society
Nowadays technologies has
become something essential for our society not only on a personan
lever, but also in working life. I think today it is impossible not to
find any electronic gadget in a person's life.
Technology offers many
advantages in the comfort of people but at the same time it also
puts the identity and culture of those at risk,so technolgies may
have some cons.
On one hand, in education
and communication is a very important factor bacause thaks to this we
get more ways to learn due to the large amount of information that
can be found on the intenert. Moreover, it facilites the
communications since we can talk to people from all over the world
and that is incredible because it does not matter how far you are
from that person, you can keep in touch in spite of this.
On the other hand, we
find some disadvantages that can affect us and our life conditions.
One of the problems is the pollution.Vehicles and factories release
large amounts of carbon
dioxide and this can contribute greatly to global
warming.Economically, it can be also a negative aspect, because there
are fewer jobs available due to the fact that machines can perform
tasks more efficiently. But specially, new technolofies are affecting
young people. Some of them are addicted to social networks and they
stalk in Facebook all the time like it they hadn't life.We all spend
all the time pending whether we receive new messages or if there are
new updates, we are completely absorberd even when we are with
friends, and we waste time in our phones instead of using the time
with them.
To
conclude, I would like to say that how we've seen, the technologies
has many advantages and it had a great importance in our society, but it also has some disadvantages that if we
don't consider they can affect us. We should do a moderate use of all
technologies.
Introduction and conclusion: Underage drinking and smoking
Nowadays, modern teenagers start to smoke and drink at earlier ages. Research shows how young people need to drink every weekend without any control. However, alcohol drinks and tabbaco are being banned in some contries. Although it has become more and more popular, there are certain risks that can affect our health.
Clearly, it is a bit difficult to stop with this because although it is banned, most of people don't care, but we need to make young people realize the great risk that drinking alcohol and smoking involved.

WE ARE A BRAIN-WASHED GENERATION.
Nowadays, people are strongly influenced by the media, such as adverts, social networks..In adverts, life appears idealized, they all create a perfect life, where there are no diseases, no worries and we dream with this life, we really want that life. The ads convey a stereotyped image of young people and social groups where fun handsome boys predominate, that is one of the important aspects.Young people take these canons of beauty and they reject themselves; they think they have to be like people who appears in adverts: thin bodies for girls and athletics bodies for boys. Moreover, they not only create this kind of stereotypes, but also advertising simplifies social models creating others sterotypes like: the housewife, the businessman or the dynamic young. We are in a society already marked, when we are born our society tell us how we have to be or how is the normal behavior. It is an important issue to think, because there are more and more diseases because of these stereotypes that our society set us.

Best holiday ever!
This summer I was in London. I had actually been in London
before, it was my fourth time but... this time was different I went with my
best friend Ana. I am a apassionate about London and I had always wanted to
show someone every place of London and this summer I had the chance to do it!
At firs it was difficult to get around London, we always went by underground
and we sometimes got lost but it was so funny!!
We visited a lot places, the typical places of London such us The Big Ben, The Buckingham Palace, The London Eye,,, and I even was in places where I had not been yet like the British museum and the Natural History museum, I loved them!
I could not ask for better fellow traveller, she's my life partner and I hope to have more trips like this because it was an amazing experience ,in part, because of her.

Making the bed or not?
Last week I read a research by the University of Kingston, London, that it said that making the bed is bad for our health because it extends the life of mites. When we make the bed we cover mites and arachnids and this increases their lifespan because they love the moisture of our sweat and closed sites. So the best way to avoid it's not making the bed. Is that true? Perhaps it's just an excuse not to make the bed for lazy people.. I always make the bed although it is boring making the bed everyday, but if I didn't make the bed, I would feel as if my room was dirty but after that.. it is a curious point to think.

A FP course to learn to be bullfighter.
In these last days there has been a great revolution in social networks when people have learnt the news that it has been made a FP course to learn to be a bullfighter. Is it necessary to make this kind of course? I could respect that someone likes bulls fighting but.. making a course to learn how to kill bulls? That does not make sense. Moreover, the government does not only wants to remove phylosophy but also they want religion as a compulsory subject.. What kind of education are they imposing on us?
Studying abroad and studying in your town
Studying abroad have a lot of benefits. It brings you the chance to live a new experience and that will make you evolve and learn to solve our problems. Different from studying in your town is that you will meet new people, new kinds of thought. However, you will have to learn a different language and that can be difficult, while if you stay in your town you won't have to worry about it. Moreover, if you go abroad, you would miss your loved ones and it's difficult to feel alone, although when we are near our families we don't appreciate it.

"Uniforms at school must be banned"
I totally disagree with this opinion because I think that wearing uniform is a way to get equality among children. Normally, Schools where children wear uniform are almost private or concerted schools, and that means that children who are in these schools come from "rich" families. The point is that not everyone have a lot of money to buy brand clothes and wearing uniform is a good way to make no distinction and all children are equal.
The Dance Lesson
This painting is one of my favorites, it was made by Degas and it belongs to Impressionism. It is currently in Orsay museum, Paris. It is a classical dance scene, where we can see a girls, who are the ballet students around the teacher.
What is striking is the perspective which uses the author, because he uses a lateral angle and that was unusual. Moreover,it is an active painting because all the characters in movement, this was very interested to Degas. It is also a realistic painting with the faces of the characters indivualized. In terms of light and color, we can say that it is quite natural, light enters through the open windows and the colors used are the primary colors with their complementary. The painter used short and quick strokes, typical of that era.
I love this painting because how I said, I love dancing ballet and it reminds me of my dance lessons.

That's me
I'm Marisa and I'm 18 years old.I'm from Monóvar, a town near Alicante. I know that many of you probably will ask why I have come to Murcia to study, having an university in Alicante, but the answer is easy... On one hand I wanted to live the experience of living away and learn new things. On the other hand, I've always heard good reviews from the university of Murcia. So I chose Murcia!
I live in Monóvar with my parents and my little sister. She's 10 years old and she's so lovely, although sometimes... I would kill her, I love her too much. Having a sister is awesome, there's any love like the love of a sister.
About my hobbies, I love dancing, specially ballet and flamenco. I've been dancing for 8 years and last year I had to give up because of the studies, I didn't have enough time and now I still miss it. Moreover, I love learning English, it's also one of my hobbies. I started to learn when I was 6 and since then I love English.
Otherwise, I considere myself a normal person who likes reading, summer nights, nice people, sleeping without alarms, I love laughing, I'm a person who is always laughing, sometimes without any reason.
And that's me!

If you want to visit a peaceful place, and you are looking for a warm place, you should go to Giant's Causway in Notherland. This place was created 60 milions years ago when a field of lava cooled and forned hexagonal blacksof bassalt. There're a lot of rocks and youcan see the sea. It's so beatiful, you'll feel amazed at the power of the naturee. In adittion, it seems a nostalgic place because of the peace that will make you feel. Visiting the Giant's Causeway will be an unforgettable experience!!

Poem: "Fear".
Fear of not having anyone and feeling alone.
Fear of waking up and not being able to see the sun.
Fear of not knowing how aprecciate all we have.
Fear of love, fear of being loved...
Fear of pain, the pain of my loved ones.
Fear of broken promises.
Fear of seeing the pass of the time.
Fear of the darkness, fear of the silence.
Fear of wanting to do something and not being able to.
Fear of losing yourself and not knowing how find you.
Fear of being different and breaking with the expectations and stereotypes
Fear of missing someone.
Fear of loving someone you can't have.
Fear of distance.
Fear of death.

My first day at university.
At first, it was hard because I had to leave my town,my family.. but I know here starts one of the best adventures that I am going to live..It is difficult to leave your house and go to live "alone", but coming to Murcia was my choice because I really like it, and I wanted to live this new experience. I know this will be worth it!
I had been waiting all the summer to enter at the university. The first day I felt excited and at the same time I was so nervous because I did not know anyone not even the university but I realised that everyone was like me. Then I met Lucia, Bárbara and Maria Pilar. That's one of the things why I'm happy to be here. I thought that the first day it was going to be horrible but I met all the teachers and some of my classmates and it was such a good day!
It is said that no one forget the first day of university and I totally agree. It was a day full of new sensations and I'm so proud to be able to study what I like.
