Best holiday ever!

This summer I was in London. I had actually been in London before, it was my fourth time but... this time was different I went with my best friend Ana. I am a apassionate about London and I had always wanted to show someone every place of London and this summer I had the chance to do it! At firs it was difficult to get around London, we always went by underground and we sometimes got lost but it was so funny!!
We visited a lot places, the typical places of London such us The Big Ben, The Buckingham Palace, The London Eye,,, and I even was in places where I had not been yet like  the British museum and the Natural History museum, I loved them!
I could not ask for better fellow traveller, she's  my life partner and I hope to have more trips like this because it was an amazing experience ,in part, because of her.

Making the bed or not?

Last week I read a research by the University of Kingston, London, that it said that making the bed  is bad for our health because it extends the life of mites. When we make the bed we cover mites and arachnids and this increases their lifespan  because they love the moisture of our sweat and closed sites. So the best way to avoid it's not making the bed. Is that true? Perhaps it's just an excuse not to make the bed for lazy people.. I always make the bed although it is boring making the bed everyday, but if I didn't make the bed, I would feel as  if my room was dirty but after that.. it is a curious point to think.

A FP course to learn to be bullfighter.

In these last days there has been a great revolution in social networks when people have learnt the news that it has been made a FP course to learn to be a bullfighter. Is it necessary to make this kind of course? I could respect that someone likes bulls fighting but.. making a course to learn how to kill bulls? That does not make sense. Moreover, the government does not only wants to remove phylosophy but also they want religion as a compulsory subject.. What kind of education are they imposing on us?

Studying abroad and studying in your town

Studying abroad have a lot of benefits. It brings you the chance to live a new experience and that will make you evolve and learn to solve our problems. Different from studying in your town is that you will meet new people, new kinds of thought. However, you will have to learn a different language and that can be difficult, while if you stay in your town you won't have to worry about it. Moreover, if you go abroad, you would miss your loved ones and it's difficult to feel alone, although when we are near our families we don't appreciate it.

"Uniforms at school must be banned"

I totally disagree with this opinion because I think that wearing uniform is a way to get equality among children. Normally, Schools where children wear uniform  are almost  private or concerted schools, and that means that children who are in these schools come from "rich" families. The point is that not everyone have a lot of money to buy brand clothes and wearing uniform is a good way to make no distinction and all children are equal.

The Dance Lesson

This painting is one of my favorites, it was made by Degas and it belongs to Impressionism. It is currently in Orsay museum, Paris. It is a classical dance scene, where we can see a girls, who are the ballet students around the teacher.
What is striking is the perspective which uses the author, because he uses a lateral angle and that was unusual. Moreover,it is an active painting because all the characters in movement, this was very interested to Degas. It is also a realistic painting with the faces of the characters indivualized. In terms of light and color, we can say that it is quite natural, light enters through the open windows and the colors used are the primary colors with  their complementary. The painter used short and quick strokes, typical of that era.
I love this painting because how I said, I love dancing ballet and it reminds me of my dance lessons.

That's me

I'm Marisa and I'm 18 years old.I'm from Monóvar, a town near Alicante. I know that many of you  probably will ask why I have come to Murcia to study, having an university in Alicante, but the answer is easy... On one hand I wanted to live the experience of living away and learn new things. On the other hand, I've always heard good reviews from the university of Murcia. So I chose Murcia!
I live in Monóvar with my parents and my little sister. She's 10 years old and she's so lovely, although sometimes... I would kill her, I love her too much. Having a sister is awesome, there's any love like the love of a sister.
About my hobbies, I love dancing, specially ballet and flamenco. I've been dancing for 8 years and last year I had to give up because of the studies, I didn't have enough time and now  I still miss it. Moreover, I love learning English, it's also  one of my hobbies. I started to learn when I was 6 and since then I love English.
Otherwise, I considere myself a normal person who likes reading, summer nights, nice people, sleeping without alarms, I love laughing, I'm a person who is always laughing, sometimes without any reason.
And that's me!

Giant's Causeway

If you want to visit a peaceful place, and you are looking for a warm place, you should go to Giant's Causway in Notherland. This place was created 60 milions years ago when a field of lava cooled and forned hexagonal blacksof bassalt. There're a lot of rocks and youcan see the sea. It's so beatiful, you'll feel amazed at the power of the naturee. In adittion, it seems a nostalgic place because of the peace that will make you feel. Visiting the Giant's Causeway will be an unforgettable experience!!
